Director of Interactive Account Management Cari Sultanik of FulcrumTech, LLC, was a presenter at the Delaware Social Media Mashup — a series of free workshops designed to help local businesses make the most of social media.
Doylestown, PA — On October 11, 2012, FulcrumTech‘s Director of Interactive Account Management Cari Sultanik gave a presentation on the best practices for Facebook marketing at a free workshop for local business leaders at The News Journal in Newcastle, DE. Backed by Gannett, The News Journal of Delaware and DelawareOnline.com have organized the Delaware Social Media Mashup — a series of three free workshops to help local business leaders improve their social media savvy, grow their business networks, and develop skills vital for competing in today’s digital marketplace.
“Social media is an important part of lead-generation strategy in business today,” observes Sultanik. “And this workshop was a great opportunity to share with local business leaders how to easily and effectively integrate Facebook into their marketing programs.”
Topics covered in Sultanik’s comprehensive presentation on Facebook marketing included how to get started, such as how to build a Facebook page, choose a photograph, and build an audience. Sultanik also shared Facebook engagement tips and how to take advantage of more advanced opportunities when a company is ready, including the use of custom applications, free and low-cost app tools, and Facebook ads. The third and final workshop of the Delaware Social Media Mashup will be held on November 9, 2012, at the Courtyard Marriott at the University of Delaware. Topics will include the ins and outs of Google+ and a discussion on best practices for using social media to increase return on investment. More information and registration are available here.
